Visible Channels

Visible Channels

When working across e.g. 10 websites, there is a lot to concentrate on to ensure that you are working on the correct data. There are a number of options available in Shopit to make multi channel working easier.

Visible Channels

In the bar at the top of the screen is a button called Visible Channels.

This will show all enabled channels with an option to include them as visible - or 'being worked on' on pages such as the product page.

You can also choose which is the default channel that the e.g. product page will always go to first.

When clicking to a product page, the default sales channel you have chosen, is the first one you will work on:

Enable/Disable

If you wish to disable a sales channel completely
  1. Go to Sales Channel local settings > Disable/Enable
  2. Go to Design > Update Domain > Delete the text
This will turn your website off altogether.

Shopit does not allow you to delete sales channels altogether due to the needs for reporting. When clicking View Store, you will still see the development version of the site, but no site will be live to the public.
