Changing the visibility status of a Single item
To change the status of one Single item
- Go to Products
- Choose (or search for) your item and click into the product record
- Scroll down to Visibility
- Choose the status as required (see status options)
- You can quickly change the status for each tabbed Sales Channel that you can control
To change the visibility status of multiple single items, use the multi-tick option on the Products dashboard
- Go to Products
- Choose (or search for) your items
- Tick the box next to the item
- Click the 'What would you like to do" box and choose Set Visibility
- You will be given a list of all the Sales Channels available
- Set the visibility for EACH of the Sales Channels in turn
Changing the visibility status of a (parent) Variation item
- Follow the same process as above for Single items.
- Please note this will NOT automatically change the statuses of the child variants (the XS blue version of that product for example). See below
Changing the visibility status of a (child) Variant item
The same methods above can be used to change the child variants statuses across multiple sales channels. However, you simply need to change what products you can see on the Products screen by customising the view.
- Go to Products
- Click the Enable Views button
- Click the Create and Manage Views button
- On the Customise Views screen, choose Products
- Create a view that includes 'Single Variants and Kits'
- You can set which products are / are not returned using the Conditions statements, for example:
- Save
- Return to the Products screen
- Click the Enable Views button again, and enable the View you have just created
- Go to that tab
- In this scenario, you will now see all the variant items.
- Continue as above/below
